Movable Ink To Acquire Coherent Path

Movable Ink | February 21, 2022

Movable Ink, the leading content personalization provider, announced that it intends to acquire Coherent Path, the AI-powered content engine powering some of the world's biggest brands.

Coherent Path aggregates data from a variety of sources and applies AI to map each customer's unique product discovery path and guide customers towards new products that deliver greater lifetime value for brands and customers alike. Unlike traditional algorithms that reinforce what customers already like, Coherent Path helps customers discover new products that they'll love while also meeting the brand's goal of delivering the most value to a customer relationship. Marketers still retain the ability to define business rules and own strategic brand goals; Coherent Path just helps marketers reach those goals faster.

Coherent Path will be integrated into the Movable Ink platform to help marketers intelligently and automatically adapt their messaging while maximizing the ROI of their marketing programs. Movable Ink continues to focus on content-level personalization by automatically generating content while seamlessly connecting into existing martech investments like ESPs and Marketing Clouds.

Every company on the planet wants to put their customer at the center of what they do. Personalization has become the new strategic imperative. Despite unprecedented access to data, marketers have not been able to understand recent behaviors and quickly shift their marketing to changing customer tastes. Existing production processes fall down when one has to create millions of unique experiences at speed and scale."

Vivek Sharma, CEO and Co-Founder of Movable Ink

"With Coherent Path's acquisition, we're bringing a game-changing AI technology to marketing teams everywhere. Whereas many current machine learning systems simply reinforce known customer behavior by recommending products similar to those customers have already purchased, Coherent Path's unique approach focuses on discovery. Customers are guided to their next favorite products, categories, and content, through AI that organically shapes content to fit each customer's evolving tastes and guides them to new areas across the product catalog. This is a potent solution when combined with Movable Ink's data access, content generation, and cross-channel personalization capabilities," added Sharma.

"We've been leveraging Movable Ink and Coherent Path to optimize and automate our email marketing program for several years now and have seen exciting results, including significant lifts in engagement and revenue," said Sean Duffy, Vice President – Contact Strategy & Search, Bloomingdale's. "With Coherent Path's AI and Movable Ink's ability to automate the creation of millions of variations of personalized content, this union is a win-win for Bloomingdale's as we work to increase production efficiencies and provide our customers with relevant content that enhances our relationship with them. We're eager to see how Coherent Path and Movable Ink build upon their unique value propositions together to help us take our personalization efforts to the next level and drive increased revenue."

The acquisition of Coherent Path by Movable Ink will enable marketers to better understand customer intent, activate any data, and serve the ideal, personalized content in an automated way across a variety of customer touchpoints.

"Coherent Path and Movable Ink have a shared vision of how the power of data and technology can transform marketers' strategies and drive incremental, lasting value," said James Glover, CEO and Co-Founder of Coherent Path. "We are excited to combine forces with Movable Ink to transform marketing from guesswork into a science that delivers powerful ROI."

With the addition of Coherent Path's 50 employees, Movable Ink will cross 500 employees globally.

Canaccord Genuity LLC served as exclusive financial advisor to Coherent Path in connection with the transaction, and Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky, and Popeo, P.C. served as legal advisor. Cooley LLP served as legal advisor to Movable Ink.

Wpromote Wins Glassdoor Employee's Choice Award, One of the Top 50 Best Places to Work in 2022

Wpromote | January 17, 2022

Wpromote was named one of the top 50 Best Places to Work in 2022 and awarded a Glassdoor Employees' Choice Award across all industries in the U.S. small and medium company category. The 14th annual Employees' Choice Award is based solely on elective, anonymous employee feedback about their job, work environment, and employer on Glassdoor, the worldwide leader on insights about jobs and companies. "We don't believe great work is possible without a supportive culture that prioritizes a strong-work life balance," explains Wpromote CEO Mike Mothner. "Our people are the driving force behind our success as an organization and what we can achieve for our clients, and continuing to improve the way we work through employee feedback is a top focus. As a leader, this should be a no-brainer: a better work culture and investment in our employees' growth means people are more willing to try new things, take risks, and unlock their full potential." Between pandemic disruption, "The Great Resignation," and a hyper-competitive job market, both retention and talent acquisition are particularly challenging for organizations across every industry. Marketing agencies in particular have struggled to retain employees. But 95% of reviewers on Glassdoor are willing to recommend Wpromote to a friend because investment in workplace improvement and culture is not a brand new priority and is constantly evolving based on multiple employee feedback mechanisms, including an annual employee engagement survey. Some of the major differentiators mentioned in Glassdoor reviews include: 4.5 day workweek Unlimited PTO Flexible work schedules and work from anywhere policies Strong health benefits 100% paid parental leave DEI initiatives, including ERG groups focused on helping to guide new policies and building a more diverse and inclusive environment Exciting clients Learning and development opportunities, including dedicated mentorship program Leadership transparency "Wpromote is a great place to grow your career in digital marketing," one reviewer noted. "Everyone I have worked with has been very smart and creative, and the clients are high-profile and really interesting. This is honestly a top-tier agency because the corporate culture is so different from the norm. I love how you prioritize employee well-being and work-life balance." On Glassdoor, current and former employees voluntarily and anonymously share insights and opinions about their work environments by sharing a company review, designed to capture a genuine and authentic inside look at what a specific job may be like at a particular company. The world of work is rapidly evolving, fueled by the pandemic and now millions of workers reevaluating their expectations from employers. This year's Best Places to Work winners are leading the way by listening and responding to employee feedback and reimagining the employee experience to truly put their people first. It's inspiring to see these employers step up during the pandemic to expand and grow company cultures where employees feel supported and valued in and out of work. Congratulations to all of this year's Employees' Choice Award winners." Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor chief executive officer Glassdoor's Best Places to Work were determined using company reviews shared by U.S.-based employees between October 20, 2020 and October 18, 2021. To be considered for the U.S. small and medium company category, a company must have had fewer than 1,000 employees and have received at least 30 ratings across each of the nine workplace attributes (overall company rating, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, diversity and inclusion, senior management, work-life balance, recommend to a friend and six-month business outlook) taken into account as part of the awards algorithm. The final list is compiled using Glassdoor's proprietary algorithm, led by its Economic Research Team, and takes into account quantity, quality and consistency of reviews. BrandMuscle’s Channel Partner Scorecard to Strengthen the Bobcat Dealer Network Marketing Performance with Ratings and Recommendations

BrandMuscle, Bobcat Company | April 06, 2022

BrandMuscle, the industry leader in integrated local and channel marketing, announced today that Bobcat Company, a worldwide leader in the manufacturing and distribution of compact equipment, will use Channel Partner Scorecard, a new solution within BrandMuscle’s Intelligent Local Marketing Platform, to evaluate Bobcat dealers’ local marketing performance and provide rules-based recommendations for optimizing their marketing execution in alignment with national strategy. Bobcat has utilized a full suite of BrandMuscle solutions since 2019. After broadening their local marketing activities, Bobcat wanted their account managers and regional directors to have greater visibility into their dealers’ levels of engagement in the company’s marketing program, and to encourage dealers to participate more effectively. BrandMuscle’s Channel Partner Scorecard lets Bobcat measure dealer marketing performance and make recommendations to help dealers drive greater results with co-op funds, social media, location data management and digital and print marketing campaigns. Information is power, and by rating dealers’ marketing performance, Channel Partner Scorecard equips Bobcat’s account managers and regional directors with the insights necessary to make clear, data-driven recommendations to give local marketing activities even greater impact. For example, when a dealership is enrolled in BrandMuscle’s social tool, but has not yet synced its Facebook account or started boosting posts, Scorecard allows Bobcat to advise dealers on the many quantifiable benefits of increasing engagement. “We are pleased to continually offer our dealer partners a wealth of strategic marketing opportunities, from social media tools to co-op marketing funds,” said Laura Ness Owens, Vice President of Global Brand and NA Marketing for Doosan Bobcat North America. “We are pleased to continually offer our dealer partners a wealth of strategic marketing opportunities, from social media tools to co-op marketing funds,” said Laura Ness Owens, Vice President of Global Brand and NA Marketing for Doosan Bobcat North America. “This more targeted, strategic approach of Scorecard will only increase the number of dealers utilizing these opportunities and, ultimately, increase opportunities for growth and raise levels of success.” By providing Bobcat’s marketing partners with scores for their performance, Channel Partner Scorecard allows Bobcat dealers to rate their performance in comparison to their peers. This friendly competitive component, called gamification, motivates dealers to increase their marketing activity. This, in turn, can improve each dealer’s marketing maturity rating. Gamification also rewards those partners who successfully align their local marketing strategies with Bobcat’s corporate goals. “Scorecard effectively connects us to what’s happening in local markets, putting us on the ground with our important local partners, and it pulls us into a conversation about how we can work better together to drive greater results,” said James Morse, Vice President of Product Management at BrandMuscle.
