Infosys Compaz, a joint venture between Infosys and Temasek, announced an enhanced collaboration with StarHub, a leading Singapore-based telecommunications provider, to deliver innovative next-generation technology solutions. By leveraging Infosys Cobalt and Infosys Topaz, the collaboration aims to address a wide range of use cases, including cloud modernization, AI automation, and industrialized operations. 61 percent of Global Businesses are Scaling Back AI Investment as a Result of Trust Issues

A recent study by Qlik , involving 4,200 C-suite executives and AI decision-makers, has highlighted the significant barriers hindering the adoption and implementation of AI solutions globally. Despite 88% of respondents acknowledging the importance of AI to organizational success, factors such as a lack of trust, skills shortages, and data governance challenges are causing 61% of businesses to scale back their AI investments.

The research revealed that many AI projects are either stuck in the planning stages or being scrapped altogether. Around 20% of businesses reported having 50 to 100+ AI projects in the scoping phase, while another 20% noted that up to 50 projects were paused or canceled entirely before completion.

Key Challenges Identified:

  • Lack of skills to develop AI (23%)
  • Challenges in rolling out AI (22%)
  • Data governance issues (23%)
  • Budget constraints and lack of trusted data (21%)

Organizations are increasingly looking at ready-made AI solutions, with 74% of decision-makers viewing them as a good foundation for enhancing AI development and overcoming these hurdles.

"Business leaders recognize the value of AI but face multiple barriers that prevent them from achieving successful deployment," said James Fisher, Chief Strategy Officer at Qlik. To address these issues, organizations are focusing on upskilling workforces and developing clearer AI strategies to drive adoption and create value.

QNAP Systems, Inc. , headquartered in Taiwan, released the QTS 5.2.2.2950 build 20241114 operating system update but promptly withdrew it after user reports of functionality issues. A comprehensive investigation revealed the issues affected limited models of the TS-x53D and TS-x51D series, including HS-453DX, TBS-453DX, TS-251D, TS-253D, TS-653D, TS-453D, TS-453Dmini, TS-451D, and TS-451D2.

To mitigate the problem, QNAP released a stable version of QTS 5.2.2 within 24 hours and provided two key options for users of affected devices:

  • Downgrade Update : Users can follow the provided instructions to downgrade to a previous stable version.
  • Contact QNAP Support : QNAP's support team is assisting users in resolving issues and ensuring data security and device stability.

Steps to Downgrade QTS:

  1. Visit the QNAP Download Center to download the required operating system version.
  2. Log in to the NAS web interface and navigate to [Control Panel] > [System] > [Firmware Update] > [Manual Installation] .

This unprecedented success over the past year is due in large part to the company’s extensive partner system, ongoing dedication to the channel, and deep technology alliances across the industry—all of which will continue under new leadership.

Corini has over 23 years of experience in cybersecurity and has held numerous sales and channel leadership positions. He most recently served as the VP of Global Channels at HYPR, where he designed and launched a new channel-focused GTM strategy that was responsible for over one-third of the company’s pipeline. Previously, Corini was SVP of Global Channels at Mimecast, where he grew channel sourced bookings to over 40% of the company's revenue and expanded the global MSP business to 20,000+ customers. Goodman brings over 15 years of security experience and comes to Abnormal most recently from Google, where she served as the Global Lead of Strategic Alliances & OEMs. While there, she launched a global OEM program that grew over 200% in its first year and led her team to grow GSI revenue by 250% over the course of 2023. Previously, Goodman was the Director of Global Strategic Alliances at ForeScout Technologies, where the alliance team created an integration monetization plan that now represents 25% of overall company revenue, and held channel program management roles at McAfee.

The two executives are joining an established channel-first organization with strong technology partnerships. Abnormal currently supports dozens of strategic partners, including value-added resellers, by providing its behavioral AI platform to protect customers against the growing threat of advanced, socially-engineered email attacks.
