Exterion wins £2bn advertising contract for London Underground

Exterion Media has beaten JCDecaux to win a £2bn, eight-year contract to handle advertising space on the London Underground — the most valuable outdoor media deal in the world.
Exterion, which has overseen ads on the Tube since 2006, will retain its role as the intermediary between marketers and millions of commuters in the UK capital. JCDecaux, the world’s biggest outdoor media group, was its main rival in the tender process after Clear Channel Outdoor dropped out of the competition earlier this year.
