Facebook Is Launching More Badges After the Success of Top Fan Badge Feature

Facebook recently initiated a positive enforcement plan where they are trying to increase engagement by giving badges to the fans and followers of pages who comment regularly. The group badges consist of little images, along with small notes that appear with the name of members, when they respond in the comment section of a post. Since the introduction of the top fan badge, Facebook has seen a significant increase in the engagement and this is the reason they have to launch more badges. These badges include admin badge, moderator, rising star, new member, visual storyteller, conversation starter and founding member badge.
