Facebook is advertising five blockchain positions on the careers page of its website, sparking speculation it is close to launching some kind of cryptocurrency product. It’s the marketing job that has raised the most eyebrows, with marketing professionals usually brought on board when a product is about to launch. In the job description, Facebook says “we are seeking an experienced leader to build and manage a new product marketing team focused on exploring the opportunity the blockchain will bring.
