[Infographic] Which Tech Brands Rule Social Media?

Which tech companies and brands are tops on social media? YouTube, Samsung, Apple and — surprise! — BlackBerry are the leaders. To compile this list and create the infographic below, the folks at Oomph looked at the top tech brands on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as well as the overall total followers across all those networks. It’s an interesting visualization, because you can easily spot which tech brands have general popularity across all three major services versus those that are popular only one one or two. For example, YouTube is highly ranked on all three services. Sony is big on Instagram but much less so on the others. The most popular tech brands overall are Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. But it doesn’t feel fair to count them over the others, because they have a natural advantage of being so popular on their own services.
