The event channel as we know it has changed. The virtual event boom ignited demand for better digital productions. And the industry responded with creative ways to drive virtual engagement and increase registration and attendance levels.
When in-person events were moved online, marketers were able to capture event data, activate it more easily, and show ROI—or more aptly, return on events (ROE). Now, as in-person events return, 72% of future events will include more robust digital components, according to a Forrester survey of marketers and event planners.
