OneConnect Forms Strategic Partnership with Chengfang Financial Technology

On January 9, OneConnect Financial Technology Co. Ltd. announced a strategic partnership with Chengfang Financial Technology Co. Ltd. They share principles of joint development, honesty and trustworthiness, and equal collaboration. They will work together to offer solutions to common problems in the financial industry, deliver technological innovations, and improve governance and data processing.

By harnessing modern technologies like AI, cloud computing, and big data, OneConnect and Chengfang Financial Technology will promote new data standards, explore new applications for data privacy technology in bank surveillance systems, and gauge the financial data collaboration and circulation models needed by businesses for secure cloud computing. They will also carry out research and development in secure computing technology, graph data, blockchain, and nurture new FinTech talent.

Apart from this strategic partnership, OneConnect also has strategic alliances with the China Insurance Asset Registration and Trading System Co., Ltd., the China Securities Regulatory Commission's Technology Supervisory Bureau, and the Insurance Asset Management Association of China.

OneConnect has implemented major FinTech projects around the world, including the Singapore Stock Exchange's ESG platform, Hong Kong's trade finance linkage platform, Guangxi Province's cross-border digital finance platform, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's FINI IPO settlement platform, a corporate financing platform for small to medium-sized enterprises in Guangdong province, the Hainan Provincial Financial Supervisory Bureau's smart integrated financial services platform, and more.
