Klaviyo Introduces New Features for Multi-Channel Communication

Klaviyo, a customer platform, announced the introduction of new features to assist brands to gain more ownership over their growth through customer experiences on all communication channels. The announcement was made at the latest Klaviyo Product Event. The new features will allow brands to easily build opted-in customer lists, launch SMS campaigns for marketing and support channels, and collate insights into past performance. Additionally, it will also help them communicate with customers across all channels.

Klaviyo’s new cross-channel communication Features include:
  • Form Teasers
This is a signup form that can transform website visitors into subscribers.
  • Profile Merging
This function merges ‘email only’ and ‘phone number only’ profiles for the same customer in Klaviyo.
  • Klaviyo-hosted mobile terms of service
This allows customizable mobile terms of service.
  • Two-way SMS conversations with Zendesk
Through this feature, customers with Zendesk can respond to incoming messages from their customers as helpdesk tickets.
  • Webhook flow actions
Brands can create more personalized experiences across channels that Klaviyo may not control.
  • Redesigned Performance Dashboard 
This new dashboard compiles a customer’s data into a single view.  Klaviyo customers now have the final say as to what appears on their dashboard.
  • A Dedicated Focus on Developers
Klaviyo launched a developer portal that highlights ways of getting started, foundational APIs, guides, SDKs and developer-specific content so developers can easily extend Klaviyo to meet their needs. In addition to enhancing the developer experience, Klaviyo will release new APIs in the coming months to improve three core areas of the developer platform:
  1. Extensibility and Flexibility to cover more product areas;
  2. Standardization for ease of use; and
  3. Connectivity to make APIs more intuitive and efficient.

With Klaviyo, brands collate website behavior, in-store data and leverage over 250 native tech partner integrations to drive a fully unified strategy and create a personalized email, SMS, and advertising experiences.
