Norcross forms media, marketing and communications task force

The Norcross City Council recently approved the creation of a Media, Marketing and Communications Task Force for the specific purpose of evaluating current communication processes, print publications, web presence and use of social media platforms. According to the city’s draft document, Clear communication and an excellent media presence, including social media, are necessary for any modern city to thrive. While we have made strides in these areas, we continue to hear concerns from citizens indicating that more is needed.” The task force, made up of individuals with expertise in media and marketing, will return after three months with recommendations for moving into the future. Committee members include Tixie Fowler, Callie Murray, Sandra Brooks, Cathy Muth, Arlene Beckles, and Joe Jackson. Council Member Elaine Puckett will be the liason with the committee.
