Twitter Users Can Now Follow Topics to Stay Updated Rather Than Following Accounts

Last year in November, Twitter rolled out Topics feature first on iOS and later for Android and the web version. At that time, it also discussed the Topics’ feature that the company planned to introduce in 2020. In a recent blog post, the company announced that users will be able to follow certain topics like they follow accounts by using tap only. The feature is expected to be available in the next few months.
Suggestions for Topics will be based on the searches and the kind of people a user follows and will appear on the timeline and in search results.
Twitter said, till now users themselves had to search for the updates by following certain accounts or searching the Explore tab to know what is happening around. But now, with just a single tap, users will be able to get the latest tweet updates on their accounts.
