Springcoast Capital Partners Launches Operating Partner Program to Advance Portfolio Company Collaboration

Springcoast Capital Partners, L.P., (“Springcoast” or the “Firm”), a growth equity firm focused on providing flexible capital to market leading software and technology-enabled companies, today announced the launch of its Operating Partner program with the appointments of Russell Klein, Lisbeth McNabb, Jose Morales and Tracey Newell as Operating Partners. Springcoast’s Operating Partners will work collaboratively with the Firm’s investment teams and portfolio company management to execute on repeatable growth and value creation initiatives.

Mr. Klein is the Chief Commercial Officer at BigCommerce (Nasdaq:BIGC), where he leads global business and corporate development efforts, and drives the company’s overall strategy to create and scale new product and service areas. A lifelong entrepreneur, Mr. Klein was previously the Co-Founder and CEO of SendMe, a mobile media company which he grew from initial concept to $100+ million in profitable recurring revenues.

Ms. McNabb is the former Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and Chief Operating Officer of the Linux Foundation, an open-source technology consortium. Previously, she served as CFO for Match.com and interim CFO for Illuminate Education. She is also the founder of DigiWorksCorp, a digital and data analytics SaaS company for retail and enterprise companies. Ms. McNabb is an independent director of Nexstar Media Group, Inc. NeoGames S.A. and Acronis a global leader in cybersecurity and data protection.

Mr. Morales is the former Head of Global Field Operations at Atlassian which included direct and indirect sales, partner programs, services and other key go-to-market functions. He helped Atlassian scale from sub-$100 million in revenue to over $1.8 billion in software revenues. Mr. Morales also served as Chief Revenue Officer at Freshworks (Nasdaq:FRSH), a provider of customer and employee engagement solutions with more than 50,000 customers and more than $500 million in recurring SaaS revenues. He is currently a board member at Datastax, a leading database software platform, and Jumpcloud, a provider of identity access management software.

Ms. Newell is the former President of Informatica, where she was responsible for global sales, marketing and customer success. Previously, she was the global head of sales and customer success at Proofpoint, which she helped scale from $100 million to $700+ million in recurring revenues. Prior to joining Proofpoint, Ms. Newell led the sales organization at Polycom where she was responsible for a team of more than 1000 sales, channels, and systems engineering professionals. She currently serves on the boards of DataRobot, Deepwatch, Druva, Highspot, SailPoint and SumoLogic.
