Instagram Separates New Likes on Posts, Adds Unfollower Stats for Creator Accounts

This would be a small, but helpful addition. According to a new finding by reverse engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong, Instagram is testing out an option that would separate new and old likes on your posts, helping you to more easily see the latest activity, and take action on the same. As you can see in the above screenshot, the Likes listing is separated into ‘New’ and ‘Earlier’ sections, helping to distinguish the latest activity. The functionality has reportedly been in testing on Android for the last few months, but would be new for iOS, if rolled out. The option could make it easier for businesses to ensure they’re tracking the latest activity, helping to glean more insight about who their posts are appealing to, while also providing a chance to respond or interact with individual users based on their interest.
