Facebook last year promised users Clear History tool, now company says it will come only by end of this year

Facebook's data practices have been in question for a long time. The matter escalated after the Cambridge Analytica controversy stormed the internet in March last year, following which the Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg took to the stage in San Jose, California to do some damage control. Zuckerberg, at Facebook's annual developers' conference - F8 2018 - announced that his company would soon introduce a 'Clear History' feature on to its platform that would give users better control over their Facebook browsing history. It has been almost a year, but the Clear History feature has still not shown up on Facebook's platfrom. But word is that the social media giant might be finally ready to roll out the feature later this year.
