Bridgepoint | March 28, 2022

Bridgepoint
To accelerate its global growth, Bridgepoint has acquired a majority stake in Inspired Thinking Group (Team ITG) from Equistone Partners Europe (Equistone), the previous shareholder, for an undisclosed sum. The current Bridgepoint management team will deliver the next phase of Team ITG’s international development through this acquisition. It focuses on U.S growth in marketing services and cloud-based marketing technology.

Team ITG is headquartered in Birmingham, UK, and has over 1,000 employees across Europe and America. It is changing the way global brands operate their marketing. It was founded in 2009 and has become the ‘go-to’ solution for several major corporations like GSK, Jaguar Land Rover, Heineken, Currys, and PUMA.

Team ITG is a multi-channel marketing activation business. Its martech platform CanopyCloud is supported by its 24-hour creative production and client services like creative production, strategy, performance marketing, photography, and film. This blend of technology allows Team ITG to deploy solutions for all kinds of client needs swiftly. They offer fast, agile marketing partnerships that deliver excellent results across all channels.

Simon Ward, CEO of Team ITG, commented: "Our success has been built on revolutionising the way marketers work, liberating them from tedious administrative tasks through our integrated ecosystem of game-changing technology and world-class creative services. Designed by marketers for marketers, our martech platform is highly innovative, refreshingly intuitive, and extremely powerful. GSK, one of our many global clients, recently described our CanopyCloud platform as 'the future and heart of their content operations.'

"We would like to thank Equistone for its fantastic support in developing our business over the past four years. And now, our relationship with Bridgepoint is another brilliant milestone in our journey as we grow globally. We have the team and the resources to deliver even more powerful results for our clients across the world while also developing a host of exciting new partnerships."

"Team ITG is a successful marketing operations services business with a compelling software offering, CanopyCloud. It operates in a very large, growing and fragmented market that benefits from the increasing need for automation driven by the shift to digital and personalised marketing. We're excited to be backing the team at a crucial time as they scale their technology offering and become increasingly global – areas where we can provide the necessary expertise to accompany them on this next stage in their journey."

Emma Watford, partner and co-head of Bridgepoint's investment activities in the UK

Paul Harper, Partner at Equistone, said: "We are proud to have partnered with Simon and the team during this exceptional phase of the company's development, comprising strong organic and acquisitive growth. We are also delighted to be reinvesting in Team ITG as a minority shareholder and look forward to continuing to support the business's ambitious global growth strategy."

SproutLoud Introduces Support for Brands with Complex Multi-Tier Distribution Channels

CMSWire | July 13, 2023

SproutLoud, the leading provider of distributed marketing solutions, today announced that it has expanded its support for multi-tier distribution channels. This new set of features allow brands to extend their marketing and sales enablement tools to more parties at different levels of the distribution chain, giving them greater control over their marketing efforts and enabling them to build stronger relationships with their end customers. “Nothing exists on the market today that allows brands to jointly collaborate with multi-tiered partners, who often have their own networks of dealers, contractors and employees, in order to extend channel partner marketing efforts. Legacy distributed marketing systems often treat each brand and their channel partners as two-party siloed relationships, when in reality a distribution ecosystem may be multi-tiered and far more complex, requiring joint go-to-market collaboration with far more than just two parties,” said SproutLoud CEO Jared Shusterman. “SproutLoud’s focus on the vertical integration of multi-tier distribution models means extending marketing and sales enablement tools holistically through the channel. And SproutLoud is the first and only distributed marketing platform to recognize and build for this.” SproutLoud’s multi-tier distribution support includes features that make it easy for brands to manage marketing efforts across multiple channels. These features provide the following benefits: Multi-tier support for distributed marketing means brands can expose their tools to more parties at different levels of the distribution chain. With multi-tier support, brands can build relationships with the frontline employees and channel partners, who otherwise may not be known to them, and influence the actions of the parties who are closest to servicing the consumer. Multi-tier support gives brands more control over funding, branding and messaging workflows allowing all parties to synchronize and integrate their message to the end consumer. SproutLoud’s multi-tier distribution support is available now to all SproutLoud customers. To learn more, visit sproutloud.com. Partnering Up for AI Success: AWS Drops Hints About Program Evolution

Amazon Web Services | September 06, 2023

AWS discreetly hints at upcoming changes within its partner program framework, particularly in AI and partner engagement initiatives. Partners can expect three critical components in upcoming partner programs: Generative AI, partner collaboration, and Marketplace enhancements. AWS approaches generative AI differently from other Amazon divisions, focusing on a corporate perspective. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is reorganizing its current partner programs, hinting at forthcoming changes related to generative artificial intelligence (AI) and collaborative partnerships among its associates. Partners can look forward to three key elements that are expected to be integrated into the partner programs later this year – the incorporation of generative artificial intelligence, increased collaboration among partners, and improvements to the Marketplace. The forthcoming announcements will address many of these subjects, stemming from the consistent inquiries posed by partners to the cloud industry leader. AWS will approach generative AI with a distinct perspective compared to other aspects of the Amazon enterprise, as it examines this technology from a corporate rather than a consumer standpoint. AWS Vice President of Worldwide Public Sector Channels and Alliances Jeff Kratz stated, "Our approach is to democratize and have the broadest and deepest solution set, so that depending on what the customer needs, the partner can fulfill it." AWS has been actively involved in discussions with its partners, gathering valuable input on safeguarding intellectual property and harnessing the capabilities of large language models. Additionally, the company has emphasized the increasing enthusiasm among its partners for nurturing collaborative relationships within the partner ecosystem. Instead of solely pursuing individual endeavors, these partners seek opportunities for strategic partnerships, aligning with AWS's commitment to supporting channel partners as they transition toward managing and reselling managed services. Another crucial component is AWS Marketplace, a platform currently undergoing substantial investment by the cloud giant and designed to serve independent software vendors (ISVs). Nevertheless, AWS acknowledges the potential for systems integrators (SIs) to thrive within this ecosystem. AWS remains committed to significant ongoing investments in the AWS Marketplace, fostering an environment where ISVs can effectively showcase and expand their solutions both on a global and domestic scale. Moreover, it recognizes the opportunity for SIs who wish to offer private marketplace solutions while actively supporting such endeavors.
